One of the most important things in the pavilion installation process is choosing how it will be anchored to the ground. Thus, at Okatent we have a wide variety of anchoring systems to align with the terrain and the size of the pavilion. Would you like to ask us about anchoring down a pavilion?

We start by preparing the land.

Before starting the installation of a portable pavilion and laying the anchoring system, it is necessary to prepare the ground and adapt it for the type of structure. During this process, the surface where we will install the pavilion is cleaned and leveled.

Choice of anchoring types.

Depending on the type of terrain (compacted earth, concrete, or asphalt), the size of the pavilion, the temporary or permanent nature, and other technical factors, a type of anchoring is selected so that the pavilion meets all stability and resistance requirements.

Pegs for anchoring temporary pavilions.

Pegs are a type of anchor that look like a stake and are used for anchoring down small- and medium-sized structures on compacted earth surfaces. They are very suitable for short-term installations. Would you like to know more about this anchor?

Get solid anchoring with a mechanical anchor.

A mechanical anchor is a type of anchor ideal for all types of installations on concrete. Once screwed into the ground, the anchor expands, generating a great deal of friction force. Are you interested in this anchoring system?

Surface footing solutions for large-scale pavilions.

The resistance of this anchoring system is due to the creation of shallow foundations (or “footings”) and the fastening thereto of plates with a steel rod in the concrete, or through chemical means. It is the most popular anchoring system. Would you like to know more about footings?

Install a weighted canopy without drilling into the ground.

For installations where permanent changes to the ground are not possible or not allowed, the use of counterweights can help to secure anchor plates, using the most appropriate type for each case. Are you interested in counterweight anchoring systems?
